Using Cash Receipt Template
Cash Receipt Template includes a Settings worksheet, where you can quickly set up the essential parts of your receipts, such as company name and address, select the currency symbol and even select the color for your receipts.
The spreadsheet contains two different cash receipt templates on separate worksheets titles Cash Receipt and Cash Receipt with Remittance Slip.
Cash Receipt Worksheet
This version of the template lets you print three cash receipts on a page. You'll have to fill out the first copy. The other two copies will duplicate details entered in the first receipt. If you prefer to fill out information by hand and need a blank receipt, you can delete the information in the fields that you do not wish to appear on the printout.
Cash Receipt with Remittance Worksheet
This version contains four receipts with a detachable remittance slip for your records. The values on the remittance slip will update automatically as you fill out the receipt. You can print out blank cash receipts, but you will need to delete the content of the cells that you do not wish to appear on the printout.
Tracking Receipts and Payments
One of the great benefits of using a spreadsheet is the ability to track the payments you receive. Of course, you may have your method of keeping track of your invoices and receipts. Nonetheless, you can also use our Invoice Register, which can help a great deal and offer you an extra layer of automation with tracking any outstanding balances on the payments that you receive. Alternatively, you can print and save a PDF copy of the receipt on your computer. Create a directory titled "Receipts" with subdirectories for each of your customers then save a file with the receipt number or the date as a filename.
